Awesome boots

Full disclosure, it's been dumping rain here in the Pacific Northwest since I got my new Alpinestars Web Gore-Tex boots, so I haven't been able to actually ride with them yet. I did however wear them around the house and even drove on an errand in the car with them on. They look great and feel amazing. The fit is nice and wide allowing for a heavy sock inside and for my foot to not feel compressed allowing for comfort over a long period of time. The sole is appropriately stiff with good tread. I hate fighting to get my foot in and out of boots, so the side zipper is a must. I was looking for an upgrade replacement for my old trustworthy Tourmaster boots of a similar style and boy are these Alpinestars an upgrade! Comparing the two, it's obvious that the Alpinestars offer far better protection, not to mention the waterproof advantage of Gore-tex. True, these cost more than the Tourmaster, but since the Tourmaster didn't end up holding up through time, I believe these Alpinestars will problably be the last ones I need to buy. I got a smoking deal because these were 'used, like new', and I love that Motor Psycho covers my tax. Great purchase, super fast service and perfect communication. Very happy.
