The hinge system gives great ankle mobility, making them comfortable both on and off the bike. Traction on the sole is excellent, whether I’m on pavement or loose terrain. Stunning boots, these things definitely will turn some heads. First time trying them on, I immediately felt the difference in ankle support and quality. Been using SG12s for the past 5 years. before was using the Alpinestars tech 7s. These have SO much more protection. Maybe next time I'll try the SG22s but for the great price here I'm very happy with these.
