Features
Features intermediate oval shape which fits the majority of head shapes in the North American markets
Internal Air Channel Improved ventilation with an enhanced air extraction system, pulling hot/moist air from the eye port area through ducted channels behind the cheek pads that exhaust out the side cowl vents, keeping the rider cool and helping to reduce fogging
PB-SNC2 Shell Z Resin developed and blended in-house, bonds the many layers and materials of the shell more securely using less resin, improving shell strength as well as reducing weight
Super Fiber and special synthetic reinforcing fibers allows for a stronger, yet lighter shell with excellent Glancing Off properties
The addition of the internal Structural net and Peripheral Belt further strengthens the shell with minimal increase to weight or thickness
Shield Latch The Variable Axis System (VAS) latch captures and securely holds the shield closed to help resist unexpected opening
VAS Shield Mechanism By combining the pin trajectory with the two trajectories of the double pivot point slot, the shield opens and closes smoothly even with the much lower shield mount position
Dual-function lever releases both the side cover/pod and shield pin for quick and simple shield removal
Larger latch allows for intuitive and seamless shield operation, even with heavy gloves
Shield has a positive stop to resist unintentional opening, even in the de-mist position, but with a slight pull on the lift tab to clear this stop the shield simply lifts with ease
IC Duct5 Uses a three-position slide gate to improve sealing for reduced noise and water intrusion
Vents are lightly mounted to remain frangible and easily come off in an impact so as not to snag on obstacles or cause excess rotational force
I have order lots a gear from these guys not everything fit, but returns and exchanges were very easy, communication was excellent and buying was easy with a great selection and inventory. Everything shipped right away received my orders within one to two days. Will definitely continue to shop with this co.
The fit is outstanding and the airflow is best Iβve ever experienced. I get a little rubbing at the collar but am hoping that needs a little breaking in period.
Love this shirt. I recently switched from an external chest protector to this and itβs very comfortable. Breathes well and I like the lighter colors.
The C91 from HJC is a great helmet. Mechanically, the latch, the clear visor, the sun visor, and the air intake are all easy to reach and operate while underway. On top of that, it fits my large head very well. Installation of after market speakers and microphone was simple thanks to the ear pockets and hidden wiring grooves. I highly recommend this helmet and the seller, Motor Psycho.
GREAT mid-tier helmet! One Industries has a winner.
What a great helmet that's ultra light weight and very comfortable. I'm a fan of the top tier helmets but with trying to be diligent by replacing my helmet every 5-7 years, I can't justify an $800 helmet anymore. My last helmet, an Airoh Aviator Carbon was outstanding but it's overdue to be replaced and Airoh still has a bit of a small presence in the U.S. so their isn't a lot of feedback from buyers on their newest line. The X-297 is over 1/2 the price of the top tier helmets but has the weight of some of the lightest carbon fiber shell big money helmets made. The biggest factor in my decision, besides it having the MIPS technology for added safety is the helmet having dedicated speaker pockets for comm systems like my Cardo Packtalk. My wife and I ride together often when trail riding and our paces are much different...keeping in communication with each other as well as enjoying some bluetooth music is a nice benefit. Sadly, street bike helmets are mostly the only style with lots of speaker ready models out there. Offroad is slowly catching on and many don't have any provisions to fit speakers inside. The One Industries X-297 does, and my Packtalk system with 40mm JBL speakers worked perfectly on the helmet. I'm a big fan of buying helmets from helmet companies like Airoh, Shoei, Arai, Bell, 6D, etc. That being said, I strayed from that desire and gave this one a shot...and I'm very pleased I did. Outstanding value for the features!
First time buying from Motor Psycho Sports but I had a good experience with my SIDI boot purchase. Great description, pricing, communication, and quick delivery with accurate tracking. I didn't have any issues with my order, like a return, which is the true test of a retailer, but I'd confidently buy again from them.
