This helmet has an excellent finish, good features, it's not too heavy, and the flip up mechanism works well. However, overall I am disappointed in the quality of the helmet. First, it is the noisiest helmet I've ever had of any type. I know it's modular, but my Scorpion XT900 series modular was cheaper and quieter with many of the same features this one has and it came with a removable peak. Second, if you're in a colder climate area, the gap at the bottom of the helmet is too big and drafty. The cheap chin curtain that's included falls out almost every ride while opening (or worse if you're starting a ride with gloves on) closing the lid. The least resistance (like a boom mike or say a human chin) knocks this thing out of its groove regularly. This makes the prior comment about the draftiness from the bottom of the helmet more important because you're often riding without the curtain for part of a ride, and if it's under 70 degrees F, you're feeling a noticeable polar vortex past your chin. Third, although the drop down sunscreen works, the switch location seems further back on the helmet side than others I've used (snowmobile and motorcycle). The smoke sunscreen is good on days with partial sun or a bright but cloudy sky, but it is not dark enough for bluebird clear blue skies of you're riding and the sun angle puts the glare or sun in your face. I don't think this is a problem with the design or anything, but buyers should be aware you way want a pair of darker shades in a pocket or bag if it's a really bright day--especially for a longer ride or if you're riding into a rising or setting sun.

Fantastic service, great price.
I loved the quick service from Motor Psycho, and despite the used/open box status, I received a perfect condition, brand new helmet within three days of ordering. I highly recommend Motor Psycho!
Received my Shoei helmet in lightning speed. So much to chose from with fast response and constant communication is what I think sets them apart. Will definitely be doing more purchases for gear in the not so distant future. Be well mates and keep up the good work.
This is without a doubt “the helmet” for your days on a twisty or racetrack. It feels smooth as butter like there is no wind pushing against you. Legit too, highly reccomend motorpsychosport
TR personally took my phone call and answered questions I had about a Shoei Neotec 3. He also texted and emailed me to guide me through the purchase using visa gift cards. Top notch owner that cares about making customers happy.
Great looking and feeling boots! I raced and rode with the sg12’s for years and decided to upgrade and im glad i did. After putting them on they were like walking on clouds. You are missing out if you dont own a pair of sg22’s
