With the S-M10, Alpinestars’ Helmet Development team engineered the helmet to offer the perfect blend of excellent ventilation, and unsurpassed comfort, to create a helmet with the lightest weight possible, all without compromising on any other front.

The S-M10’s design offers a smooth, attractive, aerodynamic profile which is streamlined and free of any external channels and features that might act as a load point in an impact or compromise the overall integrity of the helmet’s construction. The surface curvature promotes reduced friction on impact, allowing deflection and the most efficient transfer of energy to protect the rider’s head from direct force to the skull and referred to the neck and spinal column.

Key Features

Shell sizing solution: four dedicated shell sizes (S–XL) across six fit sizes (XS–XXL) deliver an anatomical fit that improves comfort, lowers weight, and enhances impact effectiveness.
Chin bar design: raised relief profile with softer EPS and a flexible rubber cover helps clear the collarbone to reduce the chance of collarbone injury.
A‑Head Fitment System: patented angle and height adjustment lets the helmet sit precisely on the head for personalized stability and comfort.
Ventilation system: 28 ports (18 intake, 10 exhaust) drive high airflow for cooling during intense rides.
Emergency removal system: integrated eject technology facilitates safer, quicker helmet removal by first responders.
Lightweight construction: approx. 1260 g (size M), 1310 g with side pads, and 1370 g with visor extension to help reduce neck fatigue over long motos.

Protection

The S-M10 is available in 2 versions: ECE R 22.06 and ECE R 22.06/DOT.
For rotational acceleration and oblique impact performance, the S-M10 exceeds the ECE 22.06 Peak Rotational Acceleration standard by 76%.
Removable side pads made from a semi-soft polymer increase contact area to help disperse impact energy.
MIPS Multi-directional Impact Protection System.
ERS Emergency Visor Release and a new Visor Extension to provide protection from roost and the sun.

Construction

Shell lay-up uses multi-composite molding: a 3K Carbon high-density outer layer, a uni-directional carbon composite layer for radial strength, and an aramid fiber layer for penetration resistance, all bonded with epoxy resin for structural integrity.

best helmet i own. definitely worth the premium cost.

so it turns out the expensive helmets actually are better. my previous helmet is a Bell Bullitt Carbon and it clearly prioritized retro styling over comfort. it is unusable with speakers and the ventilation is almost nonexistent. i didn't think the ventilation was that bad until i tried the Corsair X. wow, you can actually feel the breeze inside the helmet, drying the sweat off my lips and forehead. and with little to no wind noise! incredible helmet. super comfortable. if you live in a hot climate (i'm in Houston), the extra cooling alone is worth the price premium over whatever other helmet you're considering.

Great fitting helmet.

I was properly fitted before I order the helmet, and realized I was a medium instead of a large, I always bought. The helmet fits perfect, and is really comfortable. I ordered it because it’s rated as being quiet and it’s definitely the quietest helmet I’ve owned.
