Storm CRF 450 LINK $129.99 Our linkage changes the geometry of your ‘02 CRF 450 to match that of the better turning ’03. The link was designed to duplicate the head angle and rising rate curve of the newer CRF. It is CNC machined out of 7075 aluminum. A silver center section, that carries the bearings and seals, is pressed and bonded between two red-anodized “dog bones” that are engraved with the Storm logo. Bearings and seals are installed at the factory, so installation is painless. Technical Info.: Our link will make the head angle of your ’02 CRF450 steeper by 1.5 degrees. Exactly what Honda did to the ’03. It will raise your bike 21mm at the center of the seat, 28mm in line with the rear axle, and 38mm if measured at the rear finder tip. We have received testimonial after testimonial on how much better our link makes the ’02 450 turn. Some from guys with stock triple clamps, some from people running after market 22mm offset clamps, and even a few from the Arenacross crowd with 20mm clamps. The most popular combination seems to be the Storm link and 22mm clamps. This offers the best possible turning without any twitchyness or head shake. Even with the stock clamps you WILL notice improved turning with our link. If you have 20mm clamps and would still like a little more steering without worrying about headshake, our ‘03 link will fit the ‘02 and only change head angle by 1 degree, instead of the 1.5 degree change that the ‘02 link makes. This has proven to be an excellent combination for the ’02. In a nut shell – our link will let you lean the bike over easier, stays in ruts better, and let you get on the gas sooner without pushing. YZF 450 $139.99 Our linkage for the '03-'04 YZF 450 will add 1/2 degree of head angle to the bike. It will make your bike corner more precisely. You will see a noticeable difference in turning. Our best description is that you will be able to lean the bike over easier, stay in ruts better, and get back on the gas sooner without the front end pushing. Lots of guys are changing from the stock 25mm triple clamps, to 23mm offset clamps, to get better turning. When compared to buying a different offset triple clamp, the Storm linkage is a much more cost effective way to getting better turning from your YZF.
